Steel Service provided structural steel and miscellaneous metals on Phase 1 of Continental Tire’s worldwide flagship tire plant. The plant, which opened in October 2019, produces large truck and bus tires for the commercial vehicle market. This plant is expecting to hire and employ up to 2,500 employees and is funded by $1.45 Billion in private investment.

Steel Service provided engineering, detailing, fabrication, and erection for the Structural Steel and Misc. Metals on the project.

Our Scope included 9 major areas of construction:

  2. New Materials Warehouse
  3. Mixing Building
  4. Calendaring
  5. Production
  6. Curing
  7. Final Finish
  8. Finished Goods Warehouse
